Speaker Faculty Continues to Grow for AFS ’12

As the Auto Finance Summit draws nearer, the list of exceptional speakers grows deeper as we welcome more seasoned professionals to the industry’s premiere event, slated for Oct. 22- 24.

Doug Timmerman, regional vice president at Ally Financial, and Ian Anderson, president of Westlake Financial Services, join senior executives from Bank of America Dealer Financial Services, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp., and BMW Financial Services on the Executive Dialogue session. Panelists will dive into topics like discipline in the face of percolating competition, managing margin compression, and identifying new products and growth opportunities.

In a session about staying compliant amid rising regulatory demands, Dan Earles, national manager of enterprise compliance for Toyota Financial Services, and Mike Logozzo, general manager of operations for BMW Financial, will tackle issues like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and fair lending laws.

Tom Bennert, commercial chief risk officer of Global Automotive Services at Ally Financial, will participate in a session highlighting floorplan and commercial lending. The session will cover topics like how to manage risk without losing margin and defining your value proposition for dealers. He will join Brian Fallon, senior vice president of commercial lending services at General Motors Financial, for the informative panel discussion.
