Six Senior Executives Promoted at TFS

Auto Finance News

Toyota Financial Services has promoted six senior executives, the Torrance, Calif.-based lender announced today.

Chris Ballinger, who is in charge of finance, management sciences, and global treasury, has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. TFS was recently recognized nationally and globally for achievements in Ballinger’s areas, recently winning the Association of Finance Professionals’ Pinnacle Award for excellence in treasury and finance.

Mike Groff has been promoted to senior vice president of sales, product, and marketing. In addition to leading his team to enhance the Toyota and Lexus customer experience, Groff is also active with TFS’ corporate social responsibility, and serves as a National Trustee for the Boys & Girls Club of America.

In his new role as group vice president of service operations and corporate planning, Al Smith will continue handling customer service center and field services operations, and the corporate strategy, communications, and corporate social responsibility departments will now report to him.

Julia Wada has been promoted to group vice president of human resources and business technology solutions (BTS). In her tenure, TFS built a strong performance background via strengthening coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills throughout the company.

Ron Guerrier has been named vice president of BTS and chief information officer. He will continue being an integral part in enhancing and transforming TFS’ technology capability.

Ann Bybee is now vice president of corporate strategy, communications and corporate social responsibility. She has helped TFS build upon its strategic and planning capabilities, and expansion of its community and charitable contributions.

Both Guerrier and Bybee have also been named management committee members, an appointment that is effective immediately, as is Guerrier’s promotion to vice president of BTS and CIO. The other five promotions and changes go into effect Jan. 1, 2013.

TFS employs more than 3,300 associates nationwide, and has managed assets totaling $93.1 billion.
