Top 10 List of Most Frequently Refinanced Vehicles

Auto Finance News

Though the Nissan Altima ranked first on CarFinance.com’s list of most frequently refinanced vehicles, Chrysler brands notched three of the Top 10 spots. The Ram 1500 placed second, the Dodge Charger was fifth, and the Chrysler 300 placed ninth. Two Hondas (the Accord and the Civic), two Toyotas (Camry, Corolla), the Ford F-150, and the  Chevy Impala rounded out the list.

Auto refinancing has been on the rise, of late, as consumers look to lower their monthly payments by taking advantage of lower interest rates. CNW Research predicts that refinancing will grow to 14.1% of existing contracts in 2014 — a 12% increase since 2012,  and a 228% jump from 2009.
