New-vehicle values rose 12.5% YoY in January
Incentives fell to a record low of 3.9%
New-vehicle values remained elevated year over year as supply chain issues, record low incentives and built-in seasonal inflation propped up prices in January. The new-vehicle average transaction price (ATP) for January clocked in at $45,404, 12.5% higher than the same month in 2021. Values inched down 1.8% from December 2021, according to Kelley Blue Book.
