Harley-Davidson has offered a glimpse into its forthcoming electric scooter after design patents filed to the European Union Intellectual Property Office went public Monday.

The designs showcase several features of the unnamed electric scooter project, such as a thicker inverted suspension fork, a license plate holder, metal fenders, halo headlight, mini-bike seat, belt-drive setup and more details on the motor and battery enclosure.

The battery, which shares a metal housing with the motor, features a handle on top and appears to be removable.

As the patent filings only show the design of the scooter and a collection of its parts, the technical details of the bike — as well as pricing and release date — are currently unavailable.

Harley first revealed the concept design for the scooter at CES in January 2019. The vehicle was announced as part of the OEM’s plan to expand its core audience demographic with new types of bike models.
