Casas oversees financial services strategy, performance and compliance across Group 1’s finance and insurance operations. She leads regional and centralized finance teams shaping policies and processes that support F&I performance across the organization. She has been with the company for 18 years and has been involved in dealerships since she was 17.
Group 1’s F&I gross profit per unit inched up 0.1% year over year to $2,447 in the second quarter as the retailer’s sales slowed amid affordability challenges. The retailer in Q2 also announced a planned $1.3 billion acquisition of 10 dealers from Hennessey Automobile.
Joining Casas in the session, taking place at 2:15 p.m. local time on Oct. 6, is:
- Jim Murray, president at Western Funding; and
- Peter Sayer, founder and chief executive at FlexPath Capital.
The panelists will discuss how to build resilient financing strategies and products amid market uncertainty, challenging economic conditions and changing customer expectations in a digital age.
Auto Finance Summit 2026 provides attendees with unique opportunities to network with industry leaders from captives, banks, credit unions and dealers. Sessions will highlight key trends for shaping strategies in 2027 across underwriting, credit performance, fraud mitigation, dealer-lender relationships, subprime lending and funding.
