JPMorgan Chase names Piepszak COO

JPMorgan Chase today promoted Jennifer Piepszak to chief operating officer. [caption id="attachment_58348035" align="alignright" width="300"] Jennifer Piepszak[/caption] Piepszak, who has been serving as co-CEO of the company’s commercial and investment bank, will take over for President and Chief Operating Officer Daniel Pinto following his decision to resign by the end of 2026, according to a company release. The move is effective immediately. Pinto is on track to “relinquish his responsibilities as president and COO” by June 30, 2025, according to the release, noting that he will remain vice chairman of the bank. Piepszak will “manage and coordinate all technology, operations, chief administrative office, data and analytics, corporate strategy and diversity, equity and inclusion across the company,” according to the release. She will also oversee the firm’s global corporate centers in India and the Philippines. USAA names Andrade president, CEO [caption id="attachment_58348037" align="alignleft" width="214"] Juan Andrade[/caption] USAA has named Juan Andrade as president and chief executive, effective April 2, following Wayne Peacock ’s resignation. Peacock’s resignation was announced in August 2024. Andrade joins USAA’s executive team after serving as vice chairman of USAA’s advisory panel and serving on its board of directors since 2020, according to the company’s Jan. 8 release. Andrade, whose insurance career spans more than 40 years and includes roles with Chubb , The Hartford and Progressive , was most recently the president and chief executive of Everest Group , a global insurance and reinsurance agency, according to the release. Long steps up at Flagship Credit Acceptance Auto finance executive Matthew Long has joined Chadds Ford, Pa.-based Flagship Credit Acceptance as chief risk officer, reporting to CEO Bob Hurzeler . [caption id="attachment_58348036" align="alignright" width="229"] Matthew Long[/caption] Long has more than 25 years in the auto lending industry, including recent roles as chief lending officer and senior vice president of Tempe, Ariz.-based DriveTime Automotive Group , according to a Jan. 8 Flagship release. Long started his auto finance career at Capital One , where he is credited with “leading its first-generation credit risk management team and playing a key role in their entry strategy into indirect subprime auto finance,” according to the release. He has also advised consumer finance companies on “risk models, origination strategy and fair lending analysis,” according to the release. Solifi announces exec leadership changes SaaS provider Solifi on Jan. 7 announced changes in its leadership as the company gears up for growth. Dan Corazzi has been named CEO, replacing David Hamilton. [caption id="attachment_58348034" align="alignright" width="300"] Dan Corazzi[/caption] Corazzi, who most recently served as chief revenue officer for North Carolina-based software company Jaggaer , has also held executive leadership roles with software company SAP and cloud-based management company ESM Solutions , according to a Solifi release. Hamilton, meanwhile, has been named chairman of the company, effective Jan. 13, according to the release. He has been with Solifi for more than seven years and is credited with contributing to the company’s growth strategies, the launch of the company’s Open Finance Platform and the acquisitions in the auto finance and working capital space. Prosidium Warranty and Capital names Jones EVP of dealer success Seattle-based Prosidium Warranty and Capital (PWC) on Jan. 13 appointed Brady Jones to serve as executive vice president of dealer success in the U.S.. [caption id="attachment_58348042" align="alignleft" width="216"] Brady Jones[/caption] Jones brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry, according to PWC's Jan. 13 release. As EVP of dealer success, he will be responsible for PWC's sales initiatives in the U.S. automotive market, according to the release. These responsibilities include "overseeing dealer partnerships, driving revenue growth and developing innovative solutions tailored to dealership needs," according to the release. Jones previously served as the COO of Cilajet Aviation Grade , according to the release, where he played a "pivotal role" in the team's sales strategy, agency relations, income development and innovative program creation, according to the release. In memoriam: Matt Lofton, Community Bank [caption id="attachment_58348033" align="alignright" width="214"] Matt Lofton[/caption] With sadness , Auto Finance News notes the Sept. 29 passing of Matt Lofton , president of auto fina nce at Lexington, Tenn.-based Community Bank . Lofton’s auto finance career spanned nearly 20 years at companies including TCF Bank , HomeTrust Bank and Leaders Credit Union , according to his LinkedIn profile. Lofton, who was 43, is survived by his wife, three daughters, his mother, his father and one brother, according to his published obituary.
