Heller retires as chief technology and operations officer at Huntington [caption id="attachment_58336954" align="alignright" width="197"] Paul Heller [/caption] Columbus, Ohio-based Huntington Bank announced the retirement of Chief Technology and Operations Officer Paul Heller , effective March 1. Heller has been in the top technology role since 2012 and was responsible for the bank’s technological transformation initiatives, operations, digital and payments, according to a company release. Throughout his 36-year career, he also held roles at JPMorgan Chase and technology consultant organization Anderson Consulting . Octane appoints Molnar CRO [caption id="attachment_58336951" align="alignright" width="200"] Mark Molnar [/caption] Powersports lender Octane Lending named Mark Molnar Chief Risk Officer, succeeding Ray Duggins who held the position for seven years. Molnar has been an executive in the finance industry since 1992, starting as vice president of credit risk management at Chase Manhattan Bank . He joins the powersports lender from PayPal , where he was head of global customer operations and internal controls. Molnar’s experience includes international risk, credit, operations and compliance. He will oversee all facets of risk at Octane, including credit enterprise and enterprise risk, compliance, collections and operating efficiencies, according to a company release. Duggins is transitioning to an adviser role for Octane following a 45-year career in consumer lending. He started at Octane in 2016 as an adviser before becoming the company’s first risk management hire, according to the release. Zarlenga appointed Stellantis North America COO [caption id="attachment_58336952" align="alignleft" width="184"] Carlos Zarlenga [/caption] Carlos Zarlenga will replace Mark Stewart as automotive manufacturer Stellantis’ North America Chief Operating Officer, effective Feb. 1. Zarlenga took over as president of Stellantis Mexico in 2022 and has more than a decade of experience in the automotive industry in EMEA, Asia and Latin America. He has worked at General Electric and General Motors across a range of positions in supply chain, audit, finance and regional management. Stewart joined Stellantis as North America chief operating officer in 2018. Before that, he was vice president of operations of customer fulfillment at Amazon and executive vice president of ZF Group . Sonic Automotive names Chief HR Officer [caption id="attachment_58336950" align="alignright" width="200"] Harry Harden [/caption] Automotive and powersports retailer Sonic Automotive promoted Harry Harden to chief human resources officer following the Dec. 31 retirement of Angela Broadway . Harden started at Sonic Automotive in 2001 as vice president of human resources and led the department for 14 years. He left Sonic in 2015 to become vice president of human resources and human resources consultant at dealership group RFJ Automotive Partners , according to LinkedIn. Harden has experience in human resource operations, compliance, benefits, recruiting and performance management. Broadway retired after more than 30 years in human resources and client services, according to the release. She spent 14 years at Sonic in human resources across two stints with the retailer. Group 1 announces Washburn as VP of marketing [caption id="attachment_58336955" align="alignleft" width="200"] Shelley Washburn [/caption] Automotive retailer Group 1 Automotive appointed Shelley Washburn as vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer on Jan. 11. Before joining Group1, Washburn spent nearly 19 years at marketing company GSM in positions including vice president of account services, president and head of corporate strategy. She has more than 30 years of experience in automotive marketing and retail. She started her career as a marketing manager and zone manager at Ford Motor Co. in 1989, according to LinkedIn. She also has experience as a finance manager at Plano, Texas-based dealership Plano Lincoln Mercury .
