Ford names House CFO

Ford Motor Co. has named Sherry House its chief financial officer, effective today. [caption id="attachment_58336039" align="alignleft" width="167"] Sherry House[/caption] House has been the automaker’s vice president of finance since June and succeeds John Lawler , who will continue to be Ford’s vice chair focused on “strategy, partnerships, alliances, and corporate development,” according to a Feb. 5 company release. In her prior role, House oversaw financial planning and analysis for Ford’s customer-centric business segments, including Ford Blue, Ford Pro and Ford Model e, according to her company bio. She was expected to succeed Lawler, to whom she reported, this year. Prior to joining Ford, House was CFO at luxury electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors from 2020 to 2023, according to her bio. She also held several finance leadership positions at Waymo , an autonomous-driving technology company, and has decades of experience in venture capital, private equity and investment banking. Ford also named Marin Gjaja chief strategy officer, reporting to Ford President and CEO Jim Farley and Lawler, according to the release. Gjaja has held various leadership roles at the company since joining in 2022, including chief operating officer for Ford Model e. Gjaja will be replacing David McClelland , Ford’s vice president of strategy and partnerships, who is planning to retire by the end of the first quarter after 32 years at the company. He has led strategy at Ford since 2019. Andrew Frick was named president of Ford Blue and Ford Model e, continuing to oversee Ford Pro in an interim role. Kay Hart was appointed general manager of Ford Model e, reporting to Frick, after leading Ford’s International Markets Group. Daniel Justo , vice president of the Ford Customer Service Division, will lead customer experience. He currently leads a team responsible for parts, services, accessories and customization for Ford dealers. Internationally, Sam Wu , president and CEO of Ford China, will take on an expanded role to include leadership of the International Markets Group, according to the release. Jeff Marentic , reporting to Wu, will lead the Ford International Markets Group. Ford Credit ’s U.S. and Canada consumer portfolio increased 8.4% year over year to $89.2 billion in Q4, according to the captive’s Feb. 5 earnings presentation. Ford Motor sold 142,944 vehicles in January , down 6.3% YoY.
