Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has partnered with First Bankcard to launch a credit card program for small business customers that can also be used for vehicle down payments, the companies announced last week.
Small business owners will earn reward points by using the card for any FCA U.S. dealership purchases or for business expenses — such as fuel or office supplies. Customers can then redeem those reward points at Fiat dealerships, according to Stephen Eulie, executive vice president at Bankcard’s parent First National Bank of Omaha.
“Reward points redeemed in FCA US Dealerships can be converted to cash discounts towards future parts orders, vehicle down payments, service appointments, equipment purchases, maintenance contracts, etc.,” Eulie told Auto Finance News. “For Mopar wholesale customers, this card offers cash discounts on their wholesale bill when they redeem points. All Business Edition Card-members earn 4% cash back for every $1 spent at their FCA US Dealership. This can mean increased dealer profits, lower costs to their customers, or both.
The new credit card program is a way to thank FCA customers for their loyalty, Jeffrey Kommor, vice president of U.S. sales operations at FCA said in a press release.
