Huntington Bank has named Charles Gucwa regional manager of auto finance operations in Kentucky and Tennessee. Gucwa succeeds Roy Wyant, who retired after 28 years with the bank.
Gucwa joined Huntington as auto finance product and strategy manager in late 2012. His replacement hasn’t yet been named, Gucwa told Auto Finance News.
Gucwa, who will be based in Louisville, Ky., will oversee a team that serves about 450 dealerships in the two states. He will also lead the bank’s continued dealer network and auto loan production expansion, according to a company release.
Last year, Huntington expanded its indirect lending business into Connecticut and Iowa. The bank reported auto loan volume at $4.2 billion in 2013. Currently, Huntington’s footprint includes 3,600 dealerships across 17 states in the Midwest and New England.
