TrueCar Chief Financial Officer Michael Guthrie told Auto Finance News today that the company plans to add auto financing features to its website and mobile apps.
Financing offers from partners will appear in the listing as customers look at specific cars. Guthrie said the financing options will probably not appear on the site until 2016.
“We want customers to have a complete shopping experience at TrueCar,” Guthrie said. “We want our customers to have the ability to arrange financing and leasing on our site before they go to the dealer.”
TrueCar did not specify which lenders it plans to partner with in order to provide financing. In addition to offering customers financing options, TrueCar plans to grow its dealer network and mobile technology in 2015. Currently the company has about 10,000 dealers across the country as a part of its network.
TrueCar revenue for 2014 was $206.6 million, up 54% from 2013.
