Henderson Resignation a 'Stunning Development'

Fritz Henderson's abrupt departure from GM "adds another instance of tumultuous uncertainty to an already painful restructuring process," says Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.), and raises questions about whether an intensified restructuring is in the works.

I cannot imagine anyone saw this one coming. By all accounts, he was a man who could get it done. He was held in such high regard by his peers and obviously by his new federal bosses. Although they would have lauded whomever they selected to take over for Wagoner.

I suspect his true reasons for leaving may not be learned for a long time to come and it will be more than interesting to see how this shakes out!

I am also truly shocked and am increasingly suspicious of Iacocca wannabe Ed Whiteacre as the culprit.
