In response to dealer requests for more accessible and less expensive F&I training, Team One Research and Training has made access to their “F&I Masters” training program available online. For the last 10 years, the “F&I Masters” program has been conducted by invitation to a select few dealership personnel at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. The three day advanced program graduated several hundred managers and produced a large number of the top F&I performers in the US and Canada. Many of the graduates of this program have gone on to become F&I Directors, General Sales Managers, General Managers, and even Dealer Principals.
The new online program will provide a wide range of F&I training but will also include weekly webinars, referred to as “National F&I Meetings”, Certification as a “F&I Master”, F&I Tips, Techniques and Advise, Ongoing F&I Training and Online Events, F&I Menu and Software Reviews, Dealership Compliance Solutions, and F&I Product Reviews and Information.
The cost for the entire program is $129 with no contractual obligation. In order to offer the low price the dealers and managers requested, Team One has broken from their 17 year prohibition on product advertising or endorsement for this program and website. Team One spokesman George Angus explains, “In order to meet the requests from the dealer base to make this advanced service available at a cost they can handle in the current economic situation, we will offer advertising and product endorsements to selected F&I product and service suppliers who want to support the dealers in this tough time. This might be a good opportunity for dealership decision makers to get the latest product information without the hard sell”.
