Anyone know the size of automotive buy-here-pay-here market?

Does anyone have any hard numbers for :
- size of the automotive subprime market - in terms of dollars?
- the size of the automotive buy-here-pay-here market?
- trend of the Buy-here-pay-here market over the past 3 years?
- projections for the buy-here-pay-here market over the next 3 years?

Thanks

Don,
You might want to contact The National Alliance of Buy Here-Pay Here Dealers (NABD) for the BHPH numbers. I've always found them to be very helpful. www.bhphinfo.com or call 713-290-8171.
In 2002, analysts for the Federal Reserve estimated that the subprime auto market was $65 billion. In 2006, JD Power estimated $50 billion. Lenders that I consult with believe these numbers are low and the subprime market peaked in 2006 at around $100 billion+. Unfortunately, there is no source of national data and the exact size and trends in the subprime auto finance industry are difficult to determine accurately.
