I personally think it has a few more years to go before it is at the maturity level it needs to be widely adopted...mainly b/c the installment contract is the only piece electronic at this point. All stips and other forms still have to be manually faxed or mailed in.

With e-vaulting technology you will see faxing and mailing Documents stop. Chrysler and ADP has a program out that is stoping the fax and mailing of documents.

This will help Dealer get paid faster, and insure there are not any errors in the contracting process, which is costly. With Red flag and the credit crunch I think we will see eContracting pickup speed.
