Is anyone using a "stand alone" data mining product or service?  If so, what is it and are you satisfied with it?

We use three separate services and tools, each for a different purpose. ALM First gives us an independent assessment of the profitability of each of our static pools over time as well as how different tranches, markets and years are performing compared to one another. Monetrics gives us an independent risk and exposure assessment by tranches and the overall portfolio. Monetrics also offers extensive modeling and custom scorecard We use the Cognos BI tool to look at daily and historical statistics and trends within our portfolio. We use this tool to mine our portfolio for any specific data we want to isolate. I would highly recommend any of the three.
We use SAS for all of our data manipulation, mining, and modeling. Very satisfied with it but the price of entry is not insignifcant due to the cost AND having to have employees who can program in it.
Hi Lisa,
If I undeerstand your question, CMSI's Portfolio Monitoring Service helps identify and provide analytics around asset value, portfolio performance & trending. Lenders are able to forcast and track variance with business intelligence dashboards - client configured.
Is there a time I may call?
