Event Description

The Ninth Annual Auto Finance Summit, presented by Auto Finance News, will take place October 12 - 13, 2009, in Las Vegas. The Auto Finance Summit is the premier industry event, one which draws the entire automotive lending and leasing community for meaningful discussion and debate on the future of the industry. With the recession and credit crisis continuing, auto financiers must unite to discuss the industry's critical issues, and strategize for a successful future. As an attendee, you will discover a broad range of ideas and innovations in an open, honest and collaborative environment.

We have enhanced the Summit in several ways for 2009. Firstly, the conference will take place over two days -- while not diminishing the quality and quantity of the learning opportunities at the Summit -- in order to increase the efficiency of the conference. Second, we have added a track specifically on leasing, which is experiencing significant changes. Finally, we have expanded the Board of Advisors of the Auto Finance Summit. Their advice will serve to enhance the Summit and its agenda.

In sum, we are preparing for an excellent industry gathering that we hope will allow the industry to "Regain Traction" and return the auto finance industry to growth and opportunity. We look forward to seeing you in October at the Auto Finance Summit.

Wade, who is also the senior advisor and deputy chief of staff of the Department of Commerce, will speak on the future of the auto industry in the eyes of the federal government. The speech offers a unique opportunity to better understand the Obama administration's plans for the auto industry.
